Studio Task 3 - Politics, Society, Culture & History

4 short statements that summarise my individual positioning / opinions in relation to the following contexts.

Politics

My view on politics is that without it  in the UK or any country in the world, then that place would descend into anarchy and destruction, as seen in many middle eastern countries recently. Despite the lack in popularity of the government they do have a extremely hard job that when it comes down to it there will always be somebody not pleased. Without that level of stability not much would ever get done and communication with other countries would be fragile.

Society

Society today holds a huge amount of multiculturalism, especially in the UK where by there are a number of different races, beliefs and ages all within a small area, this diversity creates an amazing society where by you can visit a number of different places in the world on your doorstep, this is obviously then very appealing to the outside world.

Culture

Different cultures are extremely diverse and when experienced they can broaden the mind and get the ‘creative juices flowing’. These different cultures introduce you to something new and unique that you wont of seen before, these experiences can then be taken home and shared  to enlighten other people on what is out there.

History

Without history we wouldn’t be able to look on past events and see where we came from what we did and all the unique things we missed out on, for good or for bad. History is what makes us who we are, as in a person or a whole country, it shaped everyone and everything that is on the earth and beyond today. Looking back at history also helps us to see what we may have done wrong (or right) and capitalise on that, to not do it again, or maybe to re do something.
